The Urgent Literacy Gap in Education

Educators and schools are facing unprecedented challenges in addressing the literacy gap among underserved students. Ed-Readwell helps solve the problem by decreasing the large reading gap.  As long as we have a significant gap in reading, we are not able to ensure an inclusive, equitable learning environment for all learners.

Grade 2 Parent

“Dr. Holly Sims has been an amazing tutor for my son Luca. She is a wealth of knowledge and individualizes each program to fit your child’s needs. She makes it fun for children, so they don’t mind going (even 3 times a week). Not only has she helped my son Luca, but she was also very active with the school and IEP meetings. Holly not only understands how to work with children, but because she has such expertise in testing, she was a huge asset for us when it came time for adjusting and making appropriate goals for Lucas IEP plan. We have been working with Holly for over a year now and I have seen a big change in Lucas reading as well as his confidence. I would highly recommend Holly to help with any child who may be struggling regardless of age. She absolutely loves what she does, and it shows.”

“Mrs. Holly has been wonderful and I am so glad that we found her when we did! My son struggled to remember phonetics and sight words, not to mention also his writing was not up to age/grade level. But after finding Dr. Holly Sims, he looks forward to having his lessons with her, and has been reading and writing on his own without all the tears!”
